You are probably more aware of chlorophyll as the pigment within plants which makes them green. But did you know that a chlorophyll supplement can actually have some great benefits for the human body too?

At Holland & Barrett, we offer a wide range of chlorophyll supplements, from liquid chlorophyll to chlorophyll tablets, all containing added goodness from additional nutrients.

Types of chlorophyll supplements

You can choose from a number of different chlorophyll supplements.

You can either take chlorophyll on its own or take chlorella or spirulina instead, both of which contain chlorophyll, alongside other key nutrients.

You can also choose how you take your chlorophyll. There are chlorophyll capsules available as well as liquids or powders if you prefer not to have to swallow tablets.

Chlorella supplements

Holland & Barrett Chinese Chlorella Rich in Chlorophyll Tablets contain chlorella, a single celled green microalgae which naturally contain chlorophyll.

Spirulina supplements

Holland & Barrett Spirulina Tablets contains spirulina, a blue-green algae that contains plant enzymes. Enzymes are an integral part of many of the body’s systems.

Chlorophyll liquids and powders

If you do not like taking tablets or find them difficult to swallow, then a chlorophyll liquid or powder could be a great alternative to ensure that you are getting all the chlorophyll your body needs.

KIKI Health Liquid Chlorophyll contains the pure extract of the alfalfa plant. This plant-based liquid has a vibrant flavour, which mixes well into water or juice, for a refreshing drink of chlorophyll water.

Naturya Organic Chlorella Powder contains a variety of nutrients and creates a tasty smoothie which leaves you feeling energised and refreshed.

This powder is high in protein, as well as vitamin E. It also provides iron, which contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue as well as vitamin B12, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Green teas for chlorophyll

Add chlorophyll to your routine seamlessly by swapping out your usual hot drink for a green tea. Green tea contains more chlorophyll than either oolong or black tea.

Pukka Organic Supreme Matcha Green Tea contains a delicious blend of whole leaf green tea and the finest matcha. It contains the highest quality organic ingredients, which give it its incredible taste.

If you need an uplift, then try a cup of Heath & Heather Organic Imperial Matcha Tea

It is naturally caffeine free and contains ingredients such as Chinese sencha, South India green tea and Japanese matcha, to provide you with an uplifting energy and a lively, sweet flavour.
