Body Scrubs & Exfoliators

31 products

Scrub a dub dub, it is time to get into the tub! You might be used to using a facial scrub in your skincare routine but have you been neglecting your body?

The skin on your body ideally needs to be exfoliated at least once a week, to keep it looking vibrant and healthy.

A body scrub or exfoliator should be the first step in your body care routine and, used regularly, will leave you with smooth skin, which feels both refreshed and renewed.

Keep one of these invigorating body scrubs on hand in the shower or bathroom to give your skin some much needed TLC.

Our range of the best body scrubs and exfoliators includes gentle exfoliators to prep the skin for a tan (real or spray tan!) as well as more gritty scrubs, which can help to get rid of dry skin and buff away dead skin cells, leaving you feeling silky smooth.

Reasons to exfoliate

Exfoliators and body scrubs help to remove dead skin cells, as well as impurities, which naturally accumulate on the skin throughout the day.

Using a shower scrub will ensure that your skin is left feeling soft and smooth.

A body scrub or body polishing exfoliator also helps to prime the skin, ensuring that it is more easily able to absorb body lotions. The body cream will then be able to penetrate below the surface of the skin and absorb more deeply.

Exfoliating may also help to support the normal production of collagen in the skin which helps the skin to stay firm.

Exfoliation for self care

Let’s talk self-care for a minute. Not only does using an exfoliator offer all of these physical benefits for the skin but it can also be a great tool to help you relax after a stressful day.

Simply run yourself a lovely hot bath and massage your skin with an exfoliating body scrub, to help you relax and promote feelings of calmness.

If you are feeling stressed or tired, this can be a great routine to do before bedtime, to help you drift off to sleep.

Coffee scrubs

Caffeine may help to reduce the appearance of cellulite and so coffee is a popular ingredient in body scrubs and exfoliators.

UpCircle Coffee Body Scrub with Peppermint 200ml is a natural body exfoliator, which is made with repurposed coffee grounds from London cafes.

It is perfect for buffing away those dry, dead skin cells. Whilst the peppermint and eucalyptus it contains helps to stimulate the senses, as the coffee makes for an invigorating start to the day.

    FAQs

How you use a body scrub will really depend upon which exfoliator you choose, alongside your skin’s needs.

You can use a body scrub once a week or several times a week for a deeper clean.

Start by rinsing your skin with warm, clean water either in the bath or in the shower. Gently rub a small amount of body scrub on your skin in circular motions. You can use your hands to do this or add an exfoliating glove for extra exfoliation.

Scrub your skin gently and then rinse with warm water. You can then wash your skin using your usual body wash before drying off and then moisturising.

Body scrub is an exfoliant which you have to massage in to the skin on your body, to physically remove dead skin cells from the outer layer of the skin.

This can help your skin to be healthier, smoother and brighter.

It is thought that using a body scrub regularly can help to reduce the appearance of cellulite on the body.

Using an exfoliator helps to promote a smoother skin texture and tone and this makes the appearance of cellulite less obvious.
